In A Nutshell

We'd struggled to get pregnant for years, and finally settled in to our yuppy existence pretending we were fine with not having children. One phone call changed everything, one question reminded us of everything we had worked so hard to forget.

"We're pregnant, and we were wondering if you would adopt the baby?"

And that's where our story begins.
